The native integration emits no membership, contract, or appointment cancellation events. A member cancels and your flows never hear about it, which is exactly the moment a win-back message earns its keep. The native integration has no forward-looking property anywhere, and its booking snapshots are never refreshed after they are written. CRMConnect recomputes properties like Next Scheduled Visit event-by-event, within seconds of the change in Mindbody, so a "no upcoming visit" segment actually means no upcoming visit.
When a staff member terminates a contract inside the Mindbody UI, Mindbody never sends a cancellation webhook for it. Any integration waiting on a cancellation event never sees it. CRMConnect catches these silent terminations by reconciling contract updates against the live Mindbody API, then emits the cancellation event your flows are waiting on.
To be fair to the native integration: it is self-serve, it is included with Klaviyo, and what it covers, it covers competently. Order events land with revenue attribution, email consent syncs, and on connection it backfills 2 years of historical client profiles (profiles, not events).
